Biomechanics and Behavior Are Often Times Linked in Your Equine Partner.

Horses  often times "vocalize" their feelings through physical expression.

Horses and people alike, have a dominant laterality, ie—right handed/left handed. Horses are the same. Sometimes the dominant side is compromised due to an injury and weakness can present itself in a myriad of symptoms.

Think about it. If you are simply walking and you experience pain in your knee—imagine being asked to jog or even run for a prolonged distance with additional weight.  This repetitive motion overtime can lead to a decreased range of motion and pain. When there is pain, a horse compromises movement to alleviate the troubled area. When a horse appears off in some way, it’s important to get to the root of the symptoms being displayed.

Studies show, often times if pain isn’t alleviated, it can lead to a poor quality of life and even depression in horses.
This is where a holistic approach to training and conditioning is beneficial. When you can identify a troubled area or visibly notice weakness, you can help alleviate pain and rebuild the compromised area.

Core exercise develops strength and improves equine posture, symmetry and balance.
When the horse’s physique improves, self-carriage (collection, hind-quarter engagement and suppleness) will be naturally occurring.

Of course, let’s be real, it takes more than 4-weeks of training to achieve a high level of self-carriage. The content in this course will provide the exercises and resources you need to continue the development of any horse.

Core Exercises Develop Postural Strength, Improving Symmetry, Balance + Self-Carriage.

ANSWER: Yes, if you space your time out accordingly. This course requires 4-5 sessions a week at 20-25 minute sessions with at least 1-2 days off. Keep in mind your horse needs adequate rest and time off.
ANSWER: Not at this time. Due to my content being pirated and resold, I no longer allow video downloads. Please don’t share the program—it’s a lot of work to produce this content.
ANSWER: Absolutely. We will have a private group for this course and I’m available via Facebook Messenger or email and we will hold a weekly group check in.
ANSWER: Yes, as long as the horse is healthy and sound—or cleared by a veterinarian if they had a recent injury.
ANSWER: Please ask the owner you are leasing the horse from.

ANSWER: This depends on your general horsemanship and the individual horse you are working with. If you feel confident handling the horse with a trusting relationship, you can absolutely do this program. If you don’t feel “safe” riding the horse or if the horse is only cleared for groundwork, this program is suitable.
